TRAILER/FLOAT DECORATING - Sunday, May 28th @ Tom Epps house
PARADE Monday, May 29th, 1:00pm Main Street, Farmingdale

We had such a great time last year being LOUD & PROUD, as we marched along the parade route, and tossed candy to the spectators.  This year we will be cleaning up and decorating Tom Epps’ red jeep, and 14-foot trailer as our Parade Float.  This year you will have the choice to walk or ride with us!

SUNDAY, MAY 28th, 6pm – 8pm. We will be adding bench seats to the trailer, an umbrella and decorating it with red, white & blue bunting and scouting stuff.  The old red jeep needs a good wash n’ polish, and get decorated, too.  If you have anything to bring we can use it!  Any, and all help, is appreciated!

MONDAY, MAY 29th, is the Parade, where 258 along with over 100 other participating groups, local and professional entertainment take to the streets of Farmingdale to show our support and honoring of our past, present and future military.

Scouts need to wear their Class A uniforms.  Please bring 2 bags of individually wrapped candy to toss to the crowd along the mile long route.  The streets around the parade route will close at noon.  If you are driving into the area, plan to arrive a bit earlier to find parking.  Pack 258 will be meeting up in the parking lot of the Farmingdale Elementary School, by the playground, between 11:30 and noon.  Craig will arrive prior to that.
